The International Scientific Conference started at the "Ukshin Hoti" University in Prizren

The International Scientific Conference on different topics from Natural Sciences and Technology, Life Sciences and Technology and Engineering and Technology, to be held until 30 August, 2019, has started at the University "Ukshin Hoti" in Prizren. Conference is organized by UPZ with partners, UBT, Isparta University of Applied Sciences and International Vision University. The conference is attended by 150 academics and Rectors from Turkey, Poland, Italy, Croatia and Albania.
The conference program began with introductory speeches by the Rector of the University of Prizren, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ismet Temaj, and Rector of "Uygulamalı Bilimler" University Ibrahim Diler. On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, a speech was given by the Minister of Public Administration, Mahir Ya gcılar.
Rector Temaj emphasized in his speech that it is an honor and a privilege to open the proceedings of this important event on behalf of the co-organizers and partners: UBT, University of Applied Sciences in Isparta and International Vision University.
"During these days we wish success to scholars from the country, the region and beyond, in presenting works on different topics from Natural Sciences, Life Sciences and Engineering Sciences and Technology", said Rector Temaj.
He said that this year, this is the second scientific conference to be held at the University of Prizren, and many have been organized every year since its establishment. “These events are proof that this university has worked and is working hard to achieve the goals we set, as a serious competitor with universities at home and abroad. However, we now believe that the challenges we are facing will be overcome by working together”, said Rector Temaj.
He thanked all those who contributed to the realization of this conference, with whom he expressed his belief that cooperation will continue in the future.
At this event also were present, the Mayor of Prizren, Prof. Dr. Mytaher Haskuka, Rector of Izmir University Prof. Dr. Bedriye Tuncsiper, Rector of "Uluslararasi Vizyon" University Prof.Dr. Fadil Hoca, as well as the former deputy and representative of the Turkish community, Mr. Fikrim Damka.
After the end of the program the rectors with ERASMUS representatives held a meeting where they discussed the cooperation between universities, implementation of projects supported by UN, EU and TIKA.
The purpose of the conference is to contribute to scientific development by discussing the studies of scientists involved in designing engineering products with sustainable design capabilities and creating a lasting impact on future generations. Creating knowledge and understanding through science makes us equipped to find solutions to today's economic, social and environmental challenges, to achieve sustainable development and more green societies.
