UPZ held Erasmus+ Information Day

Venue: At the compound of the University "Ukshin Hoti" Prizren

University "Ukshin Hoti" Prizren in cooperation with Erasmus + office in Kosovo organized Erasmus + Information Day for academic and administrative staff as well as for students of the University "Ukshin Hoti" in Prizren. 
According to this occasion this is a new call for proposals under the Erasmus +. 
Erasmus + is the new educational program of the European Union that aims to modernize education systems and adapting them to the needs of the labor market and a constantly changing world. Erasmus + merges into a single umbrella previous seven educational programs of the EU by facilitating the orientation of the beneficiaries and the rules of participation.

Rector of the University "Ukshin Hoti" in Prizren, Prof. Dr. Ramë Vataj, thanked the representatives of the Office of Erasmus + in Kosovo for presentation at UPZ and expressed readiness to support UPZ in the process of applying for projects of the European Commission. He also thanked for the support provided to the students, teachers and administrative staff to apply either for further studies, training and other programs.

Prof. Dr. Remzie Istrefi, elaborated in detail the role of the Office of Erasmus + in Kosovo. She said that Erasmus + Office in Kosovo is responsible for: providing information about Erasmus + activities in the field of higher education; advise and assist potential applicants; Conducts monitoring of projects Erasmus +; It supports and coordinates the activities of the national Group of Experts on Reforms Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE), etc .

She also announced that all potential applicants from UPZ for projects supported by the European Commission, whether students, teachers or professors can be directed to the Office of Erasmus + in Kosovo and will receive appropriate support.
