Rector Vataj welcomed in a meeting the Austrian Ambassador, Gernot Pfandler

Austrian Ambassador in Pristina, Gernot Pfandler, visited the University "Ukshin Hoti" in Prizren on Tuesday, where he was welcomed by the Rector Prof. Dr. Ramë Vataj and the chief of the German Language Department at the Faculty of Philology, Prof. ass. dr. Kimete Canaj.
Rector Vataj expressed the honour and satisfaction of the meeting with the ambassador of a state that has supported Kosovo in many important processes and has given great support for the establishment and development of UPZ. He thanked the ambassador for the conduct of professors and for the donation of a substantial book fund, expressing his commitment that soon the UPZ will form the Austrian corner.
Ambassador Pfandler emphasized that the cooperation between the UPZ and the Austrian Embassy in Prishtina has given its fruit by emphasizing the support of the UPZ through various donations, through cadres through OEAD, the donation of a substantial fund of books etc. "Such donations require a serious partner and their realization would not be possible without a management of this level that the UPZ has with the respective framework," said the Ambassador of Austria. He added that the Austrian lecturer at UPZ, Martina Dreshter, has taken an initiative to collect UPZ books, bringing over 2,000 titles.
