UPZ joins in the cooperation with Swiss Caritas for the project "Setting Pre-School Standards of High Quality by Strengthening Education, Science and Economics" (SHPRESE)

The University “Ukshin Hoti” in Prizren (UPZ) and Swiss Caritas (CaCH) on Friday have reached a memorandum of understanding for co-operation and implementation of activities at the Faculty of Education within the project "Setting Pre-School Standards for High Quality Reinforcing Education , Science and Economics "(SHPRESE). The respective agreement was signed by UPZ Prof. Ass. Dr. Shemsi Morina, Vice-Rector for Teaching, Student Affairs and Scientific Research and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Ass. Dr. Vedat Bajrami, while on behalf of Swiss Caritas Kreshnik Basha, Deputy Director for Kosovo. The project aims to improve the quality of education and provision of services in primary education in Kosovo.

Vice-Rector Morina highly praised the achievement of this memorandum, and stressed that it will go in function of increasing the quality at the Faculty of Education. He added that UPZ is open and welcomes cooperation with Swiss Caritas.

Also, Kreshnik Basha, Deputy Director for Kosovo. The project aims to improve the quality of education and provision of primary education services in Kosovo in the Swiss Caritas Highly praised UPZ's participation in this project and added that they will consider the possibility of extending cooperation with the University in the future.

At the meeting also were Prof. Ass. Dr. Soner Yildirim Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Raising and Director of the Office for International Relations Office, Përparim Avdullahu.
