Rector Temaj and Vice Rector Yildirim hosted in a meeting the Mayor of Municipality of Çanit in Çanakale

Rector of "Ukshin Hoti" University in Prizren, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ismet Temaj, with associate Prof. Ass. Dr. Soner Yildirim, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Assurance, on Thursday hosted the Mayor of Cançı in Canakkale, Turkey, Prof. Dr. Bülent ÖZ. Gürkan Ateş, Professor at the University of America at Girne and their associates. At the meeting they discussed the possibility of cooperation between the two institutions but also with their American partners, such as the University of Washington. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Levent Bush the representative of the Turkish community at the same time adviser to the Assembly of Kosovo.
Rector Temaj thanked for the visit and expressed openness for cooperation, noting that there is a very fruitful cooperation between UPZ and Turkish universities which he is interested to expand considering that besides the Albanian language in some areas in UPZ teaching is also organized in Turkish and Bosnian.
Turkish guests thanked Rector Temaj and his associates for welcoming and expressed their readiness to finalize the cooperation soon after the details were determined. They are ready to support UPZ in opening up a student canteen.
