A three-day Bootcamp was held as part of the project "Open ICT Education for Youth Employment" where the KSF students were awarded with the first three places

Bootcamp as an activity within the project "Open ICT Education for Youth Employment" was organized on 24, 25 and 26 January 2020 at the Hotel "Sharri" in Prevalla (Prizren). In this project activity 30 students / students from 7 partner institutions from Albania and Kosovo participated. Partner and implementer of this project is the Faculty of Computer Science (FCS), University of Prizren "Ukshin Hoti" - Prizren. As part of this activity within the project, students were selected from the FCS: Ibrahim Thaçi, Shpat Dylatahu, Ilir Perolli and Fatlind Mazreku. They developed their software products throughout the three days of the project and are certified at the end of the project. On the last day of the event, students' software products were evaluated by a committee comprised of project leaders and representatives of participating companies at Bootcamp. They have evaluated the software products of each team (team) from the ten student / student groups of 7 academic institutions. At the event, student Ilir Perolli (part of the White Team) developed and implemented the software product "Online Library" in HTML / JavaScript programming languages ​​and PHP, while incorporating the Bootstrap database and framework into his product. He was evaluated by the relevant committee and was awarded the first place among the three potential countries in this activity. Shpat Dylatahu (part of the Black Team) developed and implemented the Deppo software product in HTML / JavaScript and PHP programming / formal languages. Slope incorporated the Bootstrap database and framework into its product. He was evaluated by the relevant committee and was awarded second place out of three potential sites in the framework of this activity. Whereas, student Fatlind Mazreku (part of the Purple Team (Purple)) developed and implemented the software "Game Zone" in HTML / JavaScript and PHP programming / formal languages, incorporating the Bootstrap database and framework into his product . He was evaluated by the relevant committee and was awarded third place by the three potential sites in the framework of this activity. This activity was successfully completed and the application of the students' practical knowledge gained from the three online project courses was evaluated. All participants in this activity (technical leaders, students / students and company representatives) were certified by the project implementers and coordinators, Open Data Kosovo and the Albanian Institute of Science. The project "Open ICT Education for Youth Employment" is supported by the management of the AFC and is led by the regular assistant of this faculty Ph. D. c. Arber Beshiri. This project is part of the “Albania-Kosovo Cross-Border Cooperation Program” under the Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA II) and is funded by the European Union.
