At the University “Ukshin Hoti” it was done the inauguration of the Informatics cabinet and the meeting hall supplies, donation by Turkish KFOR in Prizren

The inauguration of the IT cabinet and meeting room, funded by the Turkish Council (the Turkish army serving under KFOR) in Prizren, was inaugurated at Ukshin Hoti University in Prizren on Thursday. The ribbon was cut, Rector Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ismet Temaj, Turkey's Ambassador to Kosovo, Çara Sakar, Commander of the Turkish Council Unit - Col. Numan Bash and Mayor of Prizren Prof. Dr. Mytaher Haskuka. Meanwhile, in a ceremony organized on this occasion also attended Turkish consul in Prizren, Serdan Ozajden, Director of Education in Prizren, Xhemile Thaçi-Vezgishi, ICT director Hasan Burak Gj Eran, director of Institute "Junuz" Emre ”, Mehmet YLKER, Commander of the Civil-Military Cooperation Unit, Lieutenant Colonel Behlyl Bullutsi, Vice-Rectors Morina, Yildirim, Podvorica, deans, professors and numerous guests.

Rector of 'Ukshin Hoti' University in Prizren, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ismet Temaj, in his speech on this occasion, thanked the Turkish KFOR and the Republic of Turkey for this donation given to the university, but also for the continuous support they have given in the past. He emphasized that the university has been very successful since its establishment, and is moving forward with confident steps towards the future.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Halil Kukaj, in his speech, emphasized that the computing cabinet will enable the implementation of modern teaching and learning methods, besides lectures and online exams, thus achieving the global trend of digitalization. The meeting room equipment will be used for the protection of students' diploma exams as well as for the meetings of the Faculty Council.

Dean Kukaj thanked the Turkish Ambassador and the Turkish KFOR commanders for the support given to this. He also thanked prof. Enis Kervan, for his liaison between UPZ and Turkish KFOR, enabling the realization of this important project.

Mayor of Prizren, Prof. Dr. Mytaher Haskuka said that "Ukshin Hoti" University is of particular importance for the development of the municipality. "The key issue is the link between education and the economy," he said, thanking the Republic of Turkey and Turkish KFOR in the municipality of Prizren for this important investment for the University of Prizren but also for the continued support of the municipality of Prizren.

Turkey's Ambassador to Kosovo, Çara Sakar said that it is very good that the teaching in this university is organized in Turkish language, expressing best wishes to the students and staff of this university. “Let us leave a prosperous future to our children, rich and hopeful. We as Turkey have always been and will continue to remain close to the friendly and fraternal people of Kosovo. This project, too, is a beautiful example of our historical unity. I thank our heroic army for carrying out numerous projects in different areas of Kosovo, "said the Turkish ambassador on this occasion.

Colonel Numan Bash from the Turkish Council in Kosovo, in his speech, quoted a statement by the founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, "Education, culture and knowledge are the widest window that opens to the future," he added. Turks in Kosovo feel fortunate to have been able to contribute to building the educational future of Kosovo.
