University “Ukshin Hoti” reaches cooperation agreement with the Municipality of Suhareka and Dragash

University "Ukshin Hoti" in Prizren, has reached a cooperation agreement with the Municipality of Suhareka and Dragash, for cooperation in areas of common interest. The agreement was signed on Monday between the Rector of the University, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ismet Temaj and Mayor of Dragash, Shaban Shanani, and deputy Mayor of Suhareka Mihrije Suka.
The Parties agree that it is in the common interest to assist, promote, support and enhance the level of mutual cooperation between them, in view of the overall educational, social and economic development and professional development of University students.
The Municipality of Suhareka and the University "Ukshin Hoti" of Prizren together will contribute to the development, support and promotion of the educational and vocational sector, the provision of relevant services for this university, the generation of employment and the reduction of unemployment. In this regard, the University of Prizren will provide scientific-professional assistance to municipalities with its services.
Municipalities will receive on a monthly basis a number of students from University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren to do professional internships in the municipal offices and subordinate institutions.
Municipalities are also committed to providing scholarships to the most distinguished University students and those with severe economic conditions, including martyrs' families.
Also the municipalities and the University "Ukshin Hoti"Prizren agree that for their needs to exchange their expertise and experience in certain areas, which have the capacity of both parties, and to use the institutions and communal spaces for students, such as: Municipal Library, Sports Centre, Sports fields, Municipal cultural institutions,
