University “Ukshin Hoti”Prizren, reaches the MoU with Innovation and Training Park.

University "Ukshin Hoti" in Prizren and Prizren Innovation and Training Park (ITP) Project Implementation Unit of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH, on Friday have reached a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The respective agreement was signed by the Rector Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ismet Temaj and the representative of this project, Mr. Wolfgang Leidig. The ITP project and the University will jointly engage in the development and promotion of the educational and vocational sector, the promotion of ITP investment, and relevant University services, thereby contributing to the generation of employment opportunities and the improvement of the economy and social environment in Kosovo and region. In this regard, the University of Prizren will strive to provide research and teaching assistance and services to the ITP project.The ITP project will accept a number of University students to complete professional internships, subject to the availability of training sites in the park, and will promote the same among businesses and tenant organizations in the park. The ITP project expresses its readiness to provide infrastructure facilities for University faculties, living spaces (dormitories) and canteen use for University students and summer school students, all of which will be specified in separate agreements. The ITP project and the University agree to exchange experts and their experience in specific fields, depending on the capacities of both parties. The ITP project and the University agree to establish a working group to implement collaboration with various faculties of the University, notably the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Life Sciences and the Environment and the Faculty of Computer Science, as well as the international summer school and the Career Fair .The ITP project and the University agree to share information and cooperate in the preparation of project proposals as well as in the implementation of joint projects. The university will be available to the ITP project with advisory services and expertise to businesses, industries, institutions and community organizations that will be located in the park.

The ITP Project and the University agree to provide each other with the use of the premises of the other parties, the manner of use of which shall be specified in a separate agreement whenever the need arises.

The ITP project and the University will provide each other with assistance in the process of developing strategic plans and documents.
