At Ukshin Hoti University in Prizren, HERAS is organizing a two-day training on "Project Cycle Management" for the academic staff of University "Ukshin Hoti" Prizren.
On February 26-27, 2020, HERAS is conducting a two-day training on "Project Cycle Management" for the academic staff of University "Ukshin Hoti" Prizren.
The training was organized in close cooperation with the Project Office and Management of "Ukshin Hoti" University in Prizren, in order to strengthen the capacities of this office and the academic staff in order to increase opportunities for absorption of funds and efficient implementation of projects.
During their welcoming speech, the Vice-Rector for Teaching, Student Affairs and Scientific Research Prof.ass.dr Shemsi Morina and the representative of the HERAS Team, Mrs. Donjeta Ibra, stated how important and necessary these kinds of initiatives are at the university level. HERAS expert, Mrs. Vjosa Beqaj Krasniqi, in accordance with the needs of the participants, prepared training modules related to problem identification and effective project proposal design.
During the training, participants were instructed on how to apply Project Management Cycle (PMC) and Logical Framework Approach (LFA); they were provided with essential information on the policies, programmatic, regulatory aspects of project management and ways to ensure coherence, sustainability and transparency of project work. All training sessions were followed by concrete examples in the working groups.
The training is tailored and designed specifically for the needs of the staff of University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren, in order to maximize the impact of the intervention.
