Prof.dr. Bekim Gashi was elected chairman of the Board of UPZ

By the unanimous vote on Thursday Dr.Sc. Bekim Gashi, was elected chairman of the Steering Council of the University "Ukshin Hoti" in Prizren. Also the Deputy Chairperson is elected Prof. Dr. Abdullah Zejnullahu. Their election was welcomed by all members of the Steering Council, by wishing them success in terms of this important authority of UPZ.

The current Chairman of the UPZ SC, Prof. Dr. Abdulla Aliu, on the occasion of the handover of office thanked all members of the Steering Council as well as the Rector, Prof. Dr. Ramë Vataj, for their cooperation for the beneficiary of this institution. Aliu wished success to the new Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Steering Council, offering them full cooperation in advancing the processes which is UPZ. Also Rector Vataj and other members of the SC thanked the former Chairperson and congratulated Mr. Gashi for his new position by wishing him success.

New Chairman of the Steering Council, Dr. Sc. Bekim Gashi, thanked members of SC for the trust given to the direction of this important body, expressed sincere gratitude to the former chairperson for the good work he has done, during the important processes that the university experienced, emphasizing constructive and decisive contribution to the regularity of the election process of the new management.

Also the Deputy Chairperson of the Steering Council, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Zejnullahu held a speech thanking the members of the CP for the trust given to him. Mr.  Zejnullahu also thanked the former Chairperson, for the good work that has been done to SC of the UPZ.

By the virtue of the Statute of the University the position of the Chairman and deputy of Chairman of the SC election will be done every year. Steering Council is the highest governing body of the University.
