From 25.11.2019 until 26.11.2019, the staff of the FCS consisted of: Assoc. Dr. Ercan Canhasi, Prof. Ass. Dr. Education Susuri and Prof. Ass. Dr. Zirije Hasani is attending the first meeting of the DIPHDICTKES project (Development of the PhD Curricula in ICT for Kosovo Education System) under the leadership of two prestigious universities: Linnaues University (LNU - Sweden) and NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology). Technology - Norway).
The overall goal of this project is to create a national curriculum for the Doctoral Program in ICT, which also includes the University "Ukshin Hoti" Prizren.
The specific objectives of this program are:
• Establish a national ICT research school in Kosovo,
• Establish a national ICT PhD curriculum with key elements of learning outcomes, goals and
abilities,
• Increasing the research competence of Kosovo staff universities
• Facilitating the process of accreditation of doctoral programs of individual universities at the
relevant national bodies
• Implementation of the national doctoral program, enrolment of the first generation of doctoral students, which will be jointly supervised by the Program and partner countries.
The beneficiary of this project will have the opportunity to open a doctoral program within 3 years after successful completion of the project. In addition, within the project the KSF will be beneficiary of material goods in the amount of about two hundred thousand euro’s.
