UPZ joins in the cooperation with University of Camerino in Italy

By invitation of the University of Camerino "UNICAM" on October 28-29, 2019, Vice-Rector for Teaching, Student Affairs and Research at UUHP, Prof.Ass.dr. Shemsi Morina, together with Prof.Ass. dr. Faruk Bojaxhi paid a visit to the premises of this University, where they also signed a Cooperation Agreement between the two institutions.
They were welcomed by the Rector of this University, Professor Claudio Pettinari, as well as the Research Coordinator for third countries, Professor Emanuele Tondi. The parties agreed to carry out joint projects in the future; in order to raise the level of teaching and learning for Professors and students of both Universities. The agreement consists of the exchange of students and professors from one University to another, the benefit of scholarships for Kosovar students to be part of the University of Camerion, the participation of UUHP professors in seminars, conferences and events organized by this University. .
It was also agreed to apply for a joint Master of Science in Life and Environmental Sciences model, following the 'Double Laura or Double Degree' model where students who graduate from this program will have the opportunity to apply two degrees, from two Contracting Universities.
It was also agreed to increase the activities to apply for a Doctoral program in the Faculty of Computer Science.
It is worth noting that the University of Camerino is one of the most famous in Italy, created since 1336.
At the same time the same delegation met Kosovar students who are already part of different faculties of this University. A total of 14 students were awarded scholarships, with 10 of them pursuing a Bachelor degree and 4 students pursuing a Master's degree.
Special thanks also go to Mrs.Ariana Kosova, Mr. Gëzim Gashi and Mr.Met Zogaj (immigrants in this province), who accompanied our delegation in fulfilling this agenda for 3 days.
