Vice-Rector Morina hosted Prof. Cameron White, Ph.D. Professor at the University of Houston, USA

Prof. Assoc. Dr. Shemsi Morina, Vice-Rector for Teaching, Student Affairs and Research and Acting Rector, on Thursday hosted Cameron White, Ph.D. Professor at the Faculty of Education at the University of Houston in the United States. At the meeting were also prof. Ass. Dr. Soner Yildirim, Vice-Rector for International Relations Office and Quality Assurance, Prof. Ass. Dr. Vedat Bajrami, Dean of the Faculty of Education and prof. Dalila Lekaj professors at this faculty.
The meeting discussed the possibility of achieving cooperation between the two universities.
Vice-Rector Morina said she welcomed the cooperation between the two institutions, noting that UPZ could greatly benefit from the experience of the prestigious American University, the University of Houston. He added that among other directions, the Faculty of Education at UPZ has a long tradition and the priority of this management is to support and advance in every aspect. Professor Cameron White said he was impressed with UPZ's achievements, and expressed his willingness to concretize cooperation in areas that would be agreed upon by signing a cooperation agreement. Prof. Ass. Dr. Soner Yildirim, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Improvement, said they would steer the deal and formalize it at the next meeting, stressing that the possibility of joint programs and the issuance of double degrees could be considered.
The Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Education stated that they feel honoured for the visit of the professor from the USA and that it is in the interest of this faculty to cooperate in the realization of a joint project in the fields.
