Mevlana Exchange Program/2019-20 Academic Year Application for students and staff
01 February 2019We are delighted to announce application dates for Mevlana Exchange Program. Higher Education Council (YÖK) has announced the application dates for 2019-2020 Academic Year. In order to apply for Mevlana Exchange Program mobility for 2018-2019 academic year we need to take nominations from you until 1st of March 2019.
Please send us requested documents both for staff and students mentioned below until 1st of March 2019 (Incoming staff and students must not be citizen of Turkish Republic.). Please send us also ‘list of all student/staff applications’(template enclosed; should be signed and stamped).
STUDENT MOBILITY:
The requested documents for students:
1. Candidate Student Application Form (enclosed)
2. Language Certificate (Turkish or English).
We accept the language certificate types written below:
-TOEFL IBT
-Pearson PTE
-CPE (Cambridge Certificate in Proficiency English)
-CAE (Cambridge Certificate in Advance English)
You may use ‘Reference Letter’ (enclosed) if the students don’t have any certificate type as written above. The document should be signed and stamped by home university.
3. Transcript of Records shows the Grand Point Average (GPA)
Selection criteria:
GPA for Bachelor Students: at least 2.50/4.00
GPA for Master and PhD Students: at least 3.00/4.00
** The scholarship for the incoming students will be monthly 1.200 Turkish Liras for 4 months (Totally 4.800 Turkish Liras).
STAFF MOBILITY:
The requested documents for staff:
1. Academic portfolio which includes: CV, list of publications, projects that he/she joined, continuing Works, lectures, seminars, projects, plans about the intended teaching program in the host institution.
2. Academic Staff Application Form (enclosed)
3. Language Certificate
** Staff mobility must be between 14-89 days

Per Diem for staff according to title:
Lecturer: 50 TL/day
Other titles: 40 TL/day
Note 1: It has been decided by Higher Education Council Executive Committee to allocate maximum %30 of total quato for incoming/outgoing students and staff members from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan since 2019-2020 Academic Year.
Note 2: The mobility will be realized only at below mentioned fields, decided by Higher Education Council. If there is no daily signed Agreement on one of these fields we may not accept the nomination.
