Local Intern
Overall Purpose of Post
The Local Intern will support the GIZ experts, local and International on documentation, communication, translation, access to data and partners in the field of education.
Task and Responsibilities:
The main tasks and responsibilities of the local intern will be to:
Support the International and Local experts in their daily work with special reference to:
- Teacher Professional Development/TPD: support to the organization and implementation of Training measures for teachers;
- Support the monitoring of TPD;
- Maintain a data base in SPSS;
- Provide logistic support as needed;
- Support the preparation of an International Education Conference;
- Other tasks/duties as requested
Qualifications and experience sought
- University degree: Bachelor in education or similar;
- Research skills: SPSS-knowledge is a clear asset;
- Well organized,
- Good communication skills;
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Fluency in English and Albanian language; other language skills are an asset (Serbian/German);
· Service-oriented attitude and interpersonal skills, including adapting communication to different recipients and networking in Kosovo;
Location
· The office based in the GIZ HQ in Pristina.
· Participation in field trips in whole Kosovo is expected
Duration
· The internship should start latest at 04.05.2015 and will last for 3 months.
