The Japan Foundation Fellowship Program for Intellectual Exchange

Is available for Kosovo again this year.

Please feel free to inform research-related institutions/organizations/universities/NGOs in Kosovo about the Japan Foundation Grant Program "Fellowship for Intellectual Exchange 2015-2016". the grant program is not open to general public. Only applications screened by the Japanese Embassy will be accepted by the Japan Foundation.

Attached are the necessary application documents:  "Program Guideline", "Application Instructions", "Application Form", " Letter of Affiliation" and "Reference Form". When you distribute the attached documents please add following remarks:

1. The application deadline is November 28, 2014. The original of the application (with original signature) has to arrive at the Japanese Embassy in Austria by the given deadline. In case that the application forms need to be corrected, an earlier submission than the deadline would be preferable. Please advise interested persons to carefully read the application instructions before they fill in the forms. The address of the Japanese Embassy is as follows:

2. The screening process of the application might include a telephone interview or inquiry by e-mail during December 2014.

3. The applicant should find his/her academic advisor in Japan and make the arrangement that the "Letter of Affiliation", which is included in the application documents above, will be sent directly from the advisor to the Japan Foundation Headquarters. It has to arrive at or before December 19th, 2014.

4. The screening results will be announced by the end of April 2015.
